Im confident that God will make a way,but I pray for wisdom and discernment-God's leading & of course manifestation of His grace and glory over my situation

Praying for you anon :)

I pray that God will give you hope, peace and joy in this time of waiting.

I pray that His name will be glorified as He will lift you higher from this situation.

Our God is an awesome God who provides for His children. I believe that God will work in His time. His time is perfect, and never wrong.

So be patient, anon. For there is greater things upon you, and for your business as well. I also pray that you will always excel in the marketplace, by God’s grace.

Be blessed, anon. x

I struggle with cutting... Help?

Hi Anon,

Firstly I want to thank you for sharing this with me. Secondly, I want to tell you that you are loved. I may not know the reasons for why you are cutting, but God knows – and I want to tell you that you are not alone. God is with you.

I may not understand how you feel, I may not understand the little details as I have not been in your position before. But know this, God had created you for a purpose, and I know that God does not make any mistakes.

We, as humans, are vulnerable. As a person who lives in the same world as you are – I know that the society can be mean and cruel. The society can criticise for what you are, for what you are not, for what you want to be. The society just  loves to criticise! An example of this is the media! Gossip magazines, E! channel, etc, etc. I mean, can’t they just leave celebrities alone?

Criticising has become a culture, or a trend. And everyone, I’m sure, has gotten themselves criticised or they have criticised others at some point. We are living in a cruel society, but have no fear! Because there is someone who accepts you for who you are. Who does not judge, or criticise. Who loves you endlessly, who wants to listen to you and wants to get to know you and wants to talk to you. That someone, is our beloved Father in Heaven.

People may say that it is our “human nature” to criticise, we were built this way.  This is not true. For it says in the bible that “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him, male and female He created them” – Genesis 1:27.

Our Father is a loving Father who does not judge, who loves His children for what they are, and He wants them to come to Him when they are weak – for He will strengthen them.

I mentioned that we are vulnerable, physically and mentally. We were made vulnerable by God because He wants to be in your life. The only way you can be content and happy, and be joyful is through God. We were born to have emptiness in our hearts, because the only thing that can fill that emptiness is God’s love.

Sometimes we carry burden after burden on our shoulders, or in our hearts and yell at God “I CAN’T PUT UP WITH THIS ANY LONGER”, and we want to control the situations that come into our lives and when we find out we can’t – we do certain things to our own bodies because that is the thing that we tend to be able to control. This is not just happening to you. It has happened to me, it has happened to your peers – but you may not know it, because no one wants to talk about being depressed or feeling excluded, or about negative feelings. So what then, do these people do?

Some people want to show others that they have control over their bodies by consuming alcohol or do illegal drugs, etc. They think that their burden would disappear, and they would feel joy and happiness. Of course, doing these doesn’t help at all. It only makes you have happiness for one brief moment, and when the drug wears off – You are back with those feelings you have before.

So what happens next? They continue to use the drug, to bring back those happy feelings – Further on, they would need to consume more  of that substance because they start to become tolerant, and higher dozes need to be used. Then, they become addicted and physically dependant on the substance, and would make the consuming of the substance a priority. Do you think they have fulfilled that hole in their heart? Or just make everything worse?

Others would like to control their own bodies by hurting themselves. Maybe you feel you deserve this hurt, or think that it will make you feel better in the long run. Know that you don’t have to hurt yourself, know that there is hope. THERE IS HOPE. We tend to forget this sometimes, because this world that we live in always attack us with hate, fear, anxiety that makes us worry or even hate ourselves.

Know that you are a beautiful child of God, and there is nothing that can take that away from you. “People are like fruit. It’s not how good they look on the outside; it’s the inside that validates the quality.” Sometimes we worry about our body image, we worry about what people might think of us – We worry, we worry, we worry.

The Lord says to “Cast all your anxieties upon Him, because He cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7. And by all, He means ALL. Whether it would be your worries about your family, or your future, your relationships, or yourself – Cast them all upon Him, because He cares! Because He wants to know what is bringing you down, He wants to know your fears and worries and hopes and dreams.

We tend to think that we are a one man band, we think that we can do everything ourselves when really – without God, we are nothing. Without God, we are unworthy. But because of God, we have been made worthy enough to be called His children.

I encourage you to seek His face, so that He may strengthen you and give you hope. He is the almighty Redeemer, and I know that He’s already waiting beside you to let Him be in your life. We don’t need to pretend that we are strong, because we’re not. Even if we’re the strongest body builder in the world, and we don’t have God in our life – We are WEAK.

I pray that God may give you healing, assurance, and peace. I pray that for whatever reason that you are hurting yourself that it may stop because God loves you.

We tend to believe that we must please the people of this world, but we can’t. The people of this world are hard to please, and the criteria to be “cool” or whatever - changes every day. If we focus what we’re lacking in, we don’t tend to see the talents and gifts that God has planted in us. You have been wonderfully and fearfully made! Don’t forget that.

I hope this helps you anon. I also encourage you to tell someone about your problems – whatever they are. I encourage you to also tell God your problems, and I’m sure God will use those people around you to support you. Talking to someone helps clearing things up, and will help you feel lighter. Remember that your cutting tool doesn’t provide warmth or love, but God and the people that love you does.

If you need to, feel free to talk to me with your account via messages and we can talk about this in private :)

May God be with you always,

Chris.

A few days back before my exams, I lost my newly bought camera which I treasure alot in my friend's car. Because of that, it affected my exams, as I couldn't concentrate on doing my best. That camera was bought by my dad a month ago. I didn't dare to tell him that I lost it bcos for the whole of this year Ive broke 2 phones, a laptop, an ipod touch & even a camera previously. I went home & told God that I'll give a sum of my savings to him if I ever find my camera. I hoped for a miracle of cos. I kept my phone next to me, hoping that someone would call me & tell me they've found my camera. But no luck. Until I came across this verse, I don't know if that verse meant by God is trying to tell me something or what, But that verse gave me a strong feeling to give all of my possessions to God. That struck me through suddenly, as I remembered the week before in church, where the pastor told us to contribute in our church's building plan(my church is currently building a $10 million dollars building) I didn't believe in all the miracles that were testified during that service on how miracles could happen when you place all your savings to God's kingdom. I heard about miracles how many people's fortunes double up after contributing everything to God. Plus all the blessings that were given by God. So as something stucked through my mind while praying, I suddenly made a promise to God, that I will give my entire savings to God that week without leaving a single dollar for myself. I told my family & a few of my friends. Some thought I was crazy, but it didn't matter to me. Because I will keep my promises to God. At first I worried, until God gave me some verses again to not worry for He will bless me. So i waited on that Sunday in Church, I placed all my savings into an envelope properly & handed it to my Youth Pastor. She gave me back the money at first as she wouldn't normally take money from students. But I insisted on giving everything to her. Somehow I felt tears were rushing through my cheeks continuously. I am sure those tears were not tears of sadness or remorse, but I felt that those tears were tears of happiness. The pastor asked me whether she could spend the money on the orphans that were present on that day. I told her to do whatever she likes with it. She then went up & testified about my story to the church, & she told how she gave all her money the night before without having a single dollar note with her. She said my money helped her for the orphans, as she wanted to bring the orphans out that afternoon for lunch. But she realised she didn't had any money left with her, but Jesus provided her with my money. Again, I started crying. No one in that church knew it was me who gave the money as I didn't want anyone to know & I will get tongue tied if I really went up & share about my story. I told the pastor that I will live by faith then.

I also told God that if He really approves me of doing that, I told Him to reveal himself to me & fulfill his promise to bless me. That savings that I have is whatever that I have left, I wanted to use that money to spend after my exams. I wanted to do so much as planned months back. But I realized I couldn't. Yes, I am glad & happy, at the same time I am proud of myself that I could contribute & sacrifice so much just for God. But until now, I have not experience God's blessings yet. He has not yet reveal Himself to me. I am still waiting though, that somehow a miracle would happen & I could live through this holidays without any money left. Because I really have nothing left with me now.

I ask for a prayer, that God would reveal Himself to me soon either how. Whether or not He will restore my fortunes back, that's not important. But whats important is I hope to see his glory & experience something to great, so that I could reveal his glory to the whole world. Also and to make all my non-believer friends see how God is working in me. I want God to reveal Himself in me so that I can know that there is really such a God listening to my every prayer.

Thank you.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. :)

I know that God has awesome plans in His hands especially for you, and I know that He feels overwhelmed by the sacrifice that you have made.

But remember that God reveals Himself in many different ways. It may even be in ways that you haven’t even imagined before.

Do not be disappointed if He doesn’t reveal Himself in ways that you expected.

Because His blessings are very unexpected indeed. They can be far more wonderful than you would have thought it would be.

Let us pray together that God may work in us more than ever before, so that we may feel His glory and experience in our lives.

God bless you.

Okay so , my 9th grade year i messed up SO bad. I didnt believe in god , so i ended up having sex and regretting it. Then it got around , and everyone found out. But i never changed anything , so i just kept sleeping around with guys and the whole school ended up finding out. Then around the summer time , i was saved and it just changed my whole life. I mean yeah i had some few rough patches when i would sin and go to parties and drink and what not , but now i want to change. I want to live for god only , but my reputation is ruined , and I'm scared that people are not gonna believe me that i changed and they won't give me another chance to redeem myself.

It is awesome to hear that you want to dedicate your life to God only :)

However, you are still worried about your ‘ruined reputation’! Which means that you are still wanting to live for your peers, that you are wanting to make them like you, to accept you, to understand how you feel - or to maybe, perceive you as a ‘good girl’ now, a ‘changed girl’.

Sorry if it may sound harsh.

But how are you suppose to live for God only, when you are still wanting to look good in front of your peers? Does this not mean that you’re trying to live for them? And does this not mean that your reputation is far more important than God?

Are you spending more time worrying about your reputation in comparison to praising His name and trying to live for God?

Our heavenly Father does not care about your reputation. If you’re popular, if you’re not. If you’re rich or poor. If you’ve killed someone, or had slept around. He does not care if others hate you because you’re living in His plans.

Do you know what He cares about the most?

That you will turn to Him in times of trouble, in times of need, and confess to Him when you’ve done something wrong - But not only so! — That you will be seeking His kingdom, and obey the plans He has for you and most of all - Seeking HIS approval instead of your peers.

As humans, our flesh has wants and desires - and these wants and desires usually invest in time. As teens, for example, one of our desires is — attention and acceptance. To overcome this, we usually tend to perform certain behaviours, and join in activities that the group we like does - because we want to feel accepted and we want to feel like we belong somewhere.

Some groups may be harmless, perhaps your family - pushing you to dress nicer i.e. you should pin your hair this way, and not that — but some groups can be dangerous, like your peers trying to push you into smoking, etc. Whatever it may be, we tend to perform behaviours so that we may be included in the group, even though we may not like it.

Being a believer of Christ, and one that wants to live for God — We must know that we don’t need to perform certain behaviours to please others. Because we know that the people of this world, even this world that we are living in itself - is temporary. To let others know that you’ve “changed” - That is a temporary thing. So what if they knew? Will it make a change in your life? Probably. But we are not suppose to live in this world to please others. With this in mind, we may be doing outrageous things that God wants us to do that may not be pleasing to those who do not believe in Him.

You must also know that, we have already been accepted by God way before any of your peers have accepted you. God was the first one that have accepted you, and His acceptance is the only one that matters. It may not seem that it is to you right at this moment. But eventually, you will realise that - When you feel like you’re standing alone, when your peers are not there for you - God is the one that had always been there. And He matters.

Do not be scared of people not believing that you have changed, it is not they who have given you a second chance - It is God Himself. And God will walk with you, with His hands in yours, and you will be walking together through any situation - Good or bad.

Instead of trying to prove to your peers that you have changed, why not show it?

Afterall, actions are stronger than words.

Live by God’s words, Live for God by living through His desires instead of yours — You won’t need to tell other people that you’ve changed, you won’t need to convince them either — Because it will be shown through you, because you will become light. You were created as light, and light is not suppose to be put under a bowl. You are suppose to shine. So shine like you’re suppose to, by God’s grace.

God bless.

ps. sorry if it doesn’t make sense a bit.

Is it sin to WANT to do something sinful , like go to a party and drink.
But you never end up doing it?

Apologies for the late reply for this question. As I was confused as well, I had to ask one of my youth leaders :)

This is what they said:

“It’s all about changing habit

From the bad ones to the good

I know that there is a passage about if you just “look and want” someone other that your spouse, then you are already sin

Sin is just by looking and wanting, not even acting on it
Then I guess the same rule applies to your question

But your friend needs to understand, that once we received Jesus into our life, all the sin in the past/present/future have been paid up in full

And our God is the a caring/forgiving God - who loves us no matter what!

Our mind is extraordinarily powerful - thus each and everyday we ask the Holy Spirit to cover our mind/body/soul with the blood of Jesus

So that He lead us away from temptation

Your friend has a fairly correct idea

So that the sin of the mind does not become fruitful to become the sin of a flesh

So that it stops only in the thoughts and not actually putting it into practice of going out/partying/getting drunk

Its an understanding that need God’s guidance to understand

How about suggesting your friend to start surrendering his thoughts to Jesus

So that every time that any “bad” thoughts come your friend can “distinguish” between the voices of the devil and the voices of the Lord

In time, the voice of the Lord will become clearer and dominant so that he/she need not to worry about temptation!

And another powerful tool is to actually your prayer for this friend of yours!”

:) So today, I will pray for you anon - And for those who have also come across this situation same as you.

Thanks for the question!

PS. Watch out for the next post, it’s a daily devotion on “Forgiveness of Sin” :)

God bless.

If you would please support me in prayer , i would be grateful!

My mom is a long-term alcoholic, and It's getting worse by the days. I'm not sure what to do anymore.

We are also getting kicked out of our house, because my mom doesn't pay rent cause she does not have a job. I don't know what to do if we get kicked out , we have no more money to live anywhere else! I feel like GOD is punishing me or something!

We will be praying for you :)

But know that God is not punishing you! He is a good God, a good Father!

Matthew 6:25-34 - “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labour or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you - you of little faith?

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?”

For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Sometimes we tend to worry about the things that are going wrong in our lives, and then blame God for He is “not looking after us”. But don’t blame God.

God can put you in situations that are nice, or not nice.

Not every situation that He puts you through will be a nice one.

Living with God is not like living on a cruise ship.

Living with God is like living on a battle ship.

All of His children on this battle ship has a role, and not all of His children are going through the same things!

So you may be going through a difficult situation where your mother is an alcoholic, and that you may be kicked out of the house - But know this is apart of God’s plan.

Pray for His guidance and strength and courage, so that you may go through these sets of obstacles WITH HIM.

Perhaps these set of obstacles you are facing with is a reminder to have Him more in your life, to rely on Him fully.

If a bird that were created ‘lesser’ than us are not worrying because our Father is looking after them, why must we worry ? We are valued more in God’s eyes. Remember that.

Keep praying for your mum as well, and we too will support you in prayer.

God bless.

I really have been trying my hardest to live for Christ , but it's hard. It really is , being a teenager in high school especially. I was saved over the summer, but then i decided to stray away , and go a different route other then with Jesus , so i ended up making a bunch of bad decisions and what not. & i tell myself that I'm going to change and whatever , but i keep going back to my old self. & i ALWAYS ask god for forgiveness , but I'm afraid to ask god for forgiveness anymore because i feel like a traitor , and like he wouldn't even care cause i basically lied to him alot and whatnot. What do i do now?

Everybody strays away from God at some point in their life. Why?

We tend to be SO focused on what we would like to do, rather than what HE would like us to do. Why? Because it is EASIER. When we focus on the things we would like to do, we are in our COMFORT zone. It is not entirely our fault, it is the evil spirits of this world that are making you stray away.

Someone told me the story about what the evil spirits like to do with their time. The Satan felt so defeated that people are turning more and more to God. One day, Satan and his minions had a meeting.

“How can we lure these stupid beings into our hands?!”

One suggested, “Keep them busy!”

And that is what they have done. You may think, ‘What, school work?’ No, not school work.

Technology. Social life. Drugs. Materialistic things. Pornography.

Technology isn’t ALL bad. But when you’re sitting in front of a computer 24/7, or perhaps checking your facebook status every second, or maybe even obsessed with your new iPad, playing games on it, and oh - don’t forget the PS3, or Wii, or those iPhones ——— Technology isn’t ALL bad. But when you spend so much time on it, you tend to be lured into the traps! You spend all your time on technology, and your brain goes eventually tired, and you end up with no time to read your Bible that is sitting on your bookshelf, gathering dust.

Perhaps technology is not what you’re spending your time on, perhaps it’s your friends, or drugs, or the strive to gain money, or even —— Pornography.

What is it different in your life now, in comparison to when you were in the summer break? Is it school? Is it your new friends?

What are these bad decisions? Are these bad decisions you can control (i.e. externally influenced)?

Remember that God does not judge. God always love. God is love. Do not be afraid to ask for forgiveness when you have done something wrong, because that is what God wants. God will forever forgive you. Remember that Jesus had died for a reason! So that we may be forgiven!

No one is perfect.

Remember the story of the lost sheep?

“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does he not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbours, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me! For I have found my sheep which was lost” … “I say to you, that likewise there will be more joy in heavien over one sinner who repents than over ninte-nine just persons who need no repentance.”  -  Luke 15:4-7.

Perhaps you’re a lost sheep right now, maybe all this time you’ve been spending all your time for YOURSELF. We all tend to do that. “Me me me me, what I want… What I need…” Most of the time, we live for OURSELVES.

But do not worry, for our Father knows you well. The Lord knows what you are going through, and that you are having a hard time to live for Him.

But He just wants you to know, that whatever you do - He loves you very much. He loves you so much, that He wants you to be saved and live with Him when the time comes.

Maybe right now, you think that you’re not good enough to live for Christ. Because of your bad decisions in the past, and so on. But God does not judge you.

He wants you to leave your past behind, and go with Him to a land filled of promises.

Sometimes we need to take a note that this world that we live in is only TEMPORARY. We must realise that our wants (materialistic, etc) are temporary. But our need for God, our Father, our Saviour, is not.

Don’t tell yourself that you’re going to change. Accept the fact that you HAVE changed. You have accepted Christ in your life, and you just need to do this little thing! Which is, pray more and give the steering wheel of your life to Jesus.

Believe that you are no longer the lost sheep, you are being CARRIED by God, and you’re on His shoulders. The Heavens are rejoicing for you have been found!

What do you do now?

Tell God your thoughts. Everything. What you’ve done. What you haven’t done. What you want to do, that may lead you astray from God’s plan. Tell Him  EVERYTHING. Because He wants to know! He wants to know what goes on in your life. Afterall, He is our Father. And once you’ve told Him everything - Ask Him. Ask Him for forgiveness, for strength so that you may resist these evil spirits, for wisdom so that you may know what to do when you encounter certain situations that may tempt you and also guidance so that He may guide you to the right paths.

Of course, when you ask God something - You expect to get an answer. You may expect Him to say something audible in your ear. This may not happen, and if it does not - Do not feel hopeless or think that you are not good enough. It is because God’s spirit is so gentle and soft, we tend to not realise His presence.

Another thing you should do is pick that Bible up from the shelf, and read it. Start from the New Testament. Reading the Bible may be difficult, but take one step at a time. Perhaps the first day you’d like to read one verse. And the next day another.

Or maybe find some daily devotion on the internet that emails you new bible verses of the day every day. So that when you check your email, there is a reminder for you to read the Godly words of the day.

Find excuses to know more about Him. Following Christ believers on Tumblr is great too. :)

God bless,

-cs.

Prayer:

God,

Today we want to tell You our thoughts. Today we want to tell You what we have done. Today we want to ask You for forgiveness. Lord, we realise that we are not worthy. We are nothing compared to You. But we want to thank You for everything that You have done for us.

Dear Lord Jesus, we understand that sometimes we are lead astray from Your love, and that we tend to focus on ourselves - But Lord, teach us to seek Your paths, teach us to be more like You, teach us to love and care.

We don’t want to make bad decisions anymore. We don’t want to do something that displeases You, we want to bring something forward as an offering, we want to put forward our lives so that we may live for You, and You alone.

Thank You Lord for the forgiveness, thank You for taking away our burdens, thank You for everything.

Amen.

I'm so lost these days in everything I'm doing. In terms of my relationship with God as well as people. Sometimes I'm just worried that I might be making the wrong choice or I might be being tricked by the devil. I'm looking for a path, somewhere I can go. My life is at a standstill and I'm just going along with whatever I want to do. I just want His guidance, I want to hear His voice again.

Yes, it's okay to post this.
gracesuekim@gmail.com

It is true, sometimes we feel lost. It is true, sometimes we make the wrong choices and sometimes we are tempted by the evil spirits of this world. We must remember that we do not belong in this world, for we belong in God’s Kingdom - and sometimes, it is difficult to remember that due to the earthly entertainment we may encounter.

This is why we pray, this is why we read the gospel, this is why we go to church so that we may be intimate with God and also our neighbours that love Him the way that we do. It is important to do these things, because it is a way to make MORE time for HIM and LESS time for US. It is important to be more intimate with our siblings of Christ, because  THEY are the ones that will support you in prayer when times are difficult — and also that they need YOU to support them in prayer, when times are difficult for them. It is also important for you to be intimate with your siblings of Christ, because they are LIVING testimonies! They are a type of resource and bodies that God will use to give you advice, support, etc. Christ is in each and everyone of us, and we need to understand that our Father may use different people to get messages through to us.

Giving up our time for God… At first, it will feel like it’s a kind of sacrifice. And we know, sacrifices aren’t easy. For example, sometimes we are STILL finding it hard to sacrifice our time for simple earthly things, like physical exercise or doing our homework. And sacrificing our time for HIM, sacrificing our life for HIM — sometimes is just as difficult. Most of the time, we are probably afraid of what God’s plan for us are — This is because we don’t tend to have a sense of control when we give our full lives to HIM. As humans, we LOVE being in control, because being in CONTROL means that everything is PREDICTABLE to our own understandings. Sometimes it is very hard for us to let go of that ‘control’ and give our Father the permission to steer our life. Sometimes we only let Him guide us when times are being difficult for US, or when a dear friend or family member is at the verge of death, or in some kind of disaster.

Yes, it is alright to seek for God’s word in these matters - But as a true believer, we want to do MORE than that.

At first, it will feel  like it’s a kind of sacrifice — But when you are used to spending your time with our Father, when you spend more time with Him - it will no longer feel like it is a sacrifice. It will feel like it is meant to be, that you talk to Him all the time. It is meant to be that you read the bible more, to know more about Him.

What is it that you’re doing with your own strength? Is it something that you love? Is it something that God hates?

If you know that God doesn’t like you doing something, i.e. Getting drunk, etc - Then pray. Pray that may your bad habits go away. Not because God wants you to — Clearly, He does want you to give up your bad habits, but He is such a GREAT Father that He doesn’t FORCE you to give it up for Him. Pray to Him, talk to Him, that you want to give up these bad habits because you LOVE Him. Ask Him also that He may guide you in this.

We were once lost, but due to our Father’s love being so great - We are found! As it is said in Luke 15: 4-7 ; “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbours together and says ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”

At times we are lost in our paths, confused on where to go next, which turn we should take. We are vulnerable as humans, vulnerable towards the spirits of this world. You said that you “are looking for a path, somewhere you can go”. Search no more, for by sending this prayer today, know that God has already found you. He is carrying you with His righteous right hand, He will never leave you or let you fall into the pits of darkness.

You may not realise it now, that you are found. Pray that you may open your heart fully to God and that you give Him permission to guide you in your life, that you NEED His guidance, for we do not know what is the best for us. Only HE does. Pray that you may also avoid the temptations and the trickery of the evil spirits, pray that you may not worry anymore - For God has your life in His amazing hands.

God bless.

Prayer:

Almighty God,

At this moment we want to pray for your son/daughter, for they are feeling lost. Feeling lost in their life, feeling lost in their journey, feeling lost without you. We understand sometimes as humans, we are lead astray from your love by the spirits that do not work for YOU - But Jesus, with this prayer, we want you to takeover once again - Takeover our life, so that You may guide us to the perfect path that is YOURS. For we know, that there is no other PERFECT God other than YOU, and Your plans have no flaw and that it is the BEST for us.

If we feel that our life is at a standstill, if we feel that we have lost YOU - Jesus, please come into our hearts, please touch our hearts with your love once again — For we want to be intimate with You, Lord. We want to be intimate with You, Your people, and we want to be more like You. For there is no other God in this earth, that is like You. You are one of a kind, dear Jesus, that will pick us up when we FALL — You are the one that wipes our tears away, You are the one who takes our worries away, You are the most powerful KING.

Jesus, today, we want to go back into your love. Jesus, today, we want to give our lives unto you. Today, we want you to change us. We want you to guide us. We want you to take the steering wheel of our lives, and change us. We don’t want to be tricked by the earthly spirits, because we know that they only give us TEMPORARY happiness. We want to go back into Your love, Lord, so that we may be closer to You - And we know, that Your love is forever.

Lord, we put this prayer into Your hands. We want to give our whole hearts for you.

In Your name, we pray.

Amen.

Me again, I just mentioned I am hurting. I wish I could hear from God again. Feel Him. I try reading the Bible on the way to work everyday hoping it will somehow balance myself from the stuff I do that I think is sinful. I'm hating mylife. I feel like the old song "Runaway Train" by Soul Asylum. I'm so jaded and in too deep. Don't see the way out.

My sibling in Christ, do not worry for the Lord hears your prayer.

Sometimes it is difficult to hear His voice, especially when we need Him the most. But it is at those times that our Lord carries you, through your troubles and to His plan that was created especially for you.

We believe in the power of prayer, and we, as a team will be praying for you. However, you must also pray for yourself as it is your personal need to hear God and feel closer to Him. Pray about whatever you want to. Talk to God like He is your friend, because He IS your friend! Remember, that we have been promoted over the hundreds and thousands of years from a humbled slave of God, to a friend of God - and also to CHILDREN of God!

Remember also that our Father wants us to have a relationship with Him, that He is forever loving and forever forgiving - And that He wants you to come as you are, and He will love you for who you are.

God knows your heart, and its contents. God knows more than we do, more than you know yourself. Sometimes it’s just a bit too overwhelming to think of Him like that, but that’s because He is so powerful - He is so amazing! :)

You said that you want to balance your life, and that you don’t want to perform any ‘sinful’ nature. God wants you to do this as well! Although, sometimes we tend to focus on what we “SHOULDN’T” do - especially according to the hundreds of commandments!! (Did you know there are about 600+ commandments in the New Testament?! - These commandments were MAN made!!) Sometimes we just need to focus on what we CAN do!

Here we can refer to Matthew 22:36-40: When an expert of the law tested Jesus! He questioned Jesus which was the greatest commandment in the Law - Because there are SO MANY! These hundreds of laws tend to tell us that “We shall not sin”. But Jesus is so GOOD, God is so GOOD :)

Jesus said: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”

These two laws are the laws that we CAN do! Sometimes it is not easy to do the second one, and much more easier to LOVE OUR GOD - But Jesus said, we must LOVE our neighbours, as we love ourselves!

You may ask: But what about the other commandments? Does that mean I can do “sinful” acts?

Of course sometimes you may sin - We are humans, we are so weak! That is why we LOVE our God first, and ask and pray for STRENGTH and COURAGE so that we may not fall into any TEMPTATIONS. Pray that we may seek Him and love Him TRULY with our mind, soul and body. Pray so that our the spirit within us will be STRONGER than our flesh! Because our flesh is NOTHING - but the spirit of GOD, the love of GOD, our GOD is infinite!

God knows your worries. He knows your troubles. He knows that you hurt, and long for Him. Go back to prayer, go back to basic things, go back into loving Him again - Like the first time you loved Him. Find excuses just to be with Him, to listen to His word - To read His gospel, and to talk to Him.

Come as you are, with your love for God. Slowly, in time, He will change you. But you must let Him change you. Do not worry, my sibling in Christ. Sometimes, as humans, we do think a bit too much.

There is light at the end of the tunnel, it may be far - But there is light. Being “in too deep” is never too deep for God to pull you out. It’s just a matter of you praying and asking Him.

God bless.

Prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus

We understand that our sibling of Christ has the longing to go back into your love. We believe that you will bless him/her abundantly in whatever she/he does today, tomorrow, forever - for we believe that only you, Lord Jesus, have the greatest plan each and everyone of us. Whatever she/he may feeling right now, Jesus, if it is sadness, sorrow, lost, pain, distress, worry, may that feeling GO AWAY, Jesus. May she/he feel NO MORE of this, because we BELIEVE that she/he has LOVE in their hearts - For we BELIEVE that YOU - Jesus - Is in her/his heart.

If she/he is feeling stuck, or in too deep of something - Too sinful, or ashamed to even love You, too sinful or ashamed to belong to You, let her/him understand Your word, Lord - That You are a great God, that you will pick them up with Your right hand when they fall, and forgive them of their sins.

Jesus, we believe that from today onwards, that there will be a change in his/her life. That TODAY she/he will CHANGE. When they speak, walk, talk, look, touch, smell, run, — whatever they do, they will see it from a different perspective, for YOU are with them, along side them, and never leaving them.

And we believe, through your name, anything is possible.

In your name, we pray. Amen.
