Power of Prayer

No matter how small or how big our problem is, God is bigger.

Pray with me for the sick, and those who are in bed. Those who are not conscious, and the family that are waiting next to them - for them to wake up, for them to give a hint of life.

That God may give them peace in their hearts, and comfort in their souls - for whatever God will do, will bring the best for all.

Pray with me for someone I know that is battling for her life right now. She is a woman of God who has great potential ahead of her. She’s sporty, she’s smart - She’s an all rounder.

Recently, she has been in an accident. And I’m not really sure what has happened - But all we know is that she’s in ICU. She needs prayers.

This is our sister in Christ. This is your sister in Christ.

Please, if you have a minute, or two - Pray for her. Pray for her family, the hospital, for the doctors that are dealing with her case.

No matter how small, no matter how big - GOD IS BIGGER. GOD PROVIDES.

Blessed be His name.

A prayer for all

Dear God

I am praying for the world. I am praying for our society. I am lifting up a prayer for all those who are hungry, for all those who are thirsty, for all of them that have lost faith in your mercy and goodness. I am but a small part of this. Provide what help that was to go to me to them, dear father in our wisdom and goodness allow us to drift back to you and your Divine guidance. I ask in your son, Jesus name. Amen

Let’s pray for London guys

Sometimes I lose hope in humanity, but it’s God’s way of saying - His ways are much better than humanly ways. Let’s pray for London and trust God that this is apart of His plan and that there is better things yet to come!

“And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.” (Jeremiah 29:7 KJV)

Pray for the cities that you live in, for it is your city’s peace that will also bring you peace!

Priority. I feel like a lot of you guys don’t understand the meaning of this word.

Less than two hours from my house, the city of Christchurch has turned into a war zone. A 6.3 earthquake struck yesterday just before 1pm. The city was packed with workers, tourists and school students out for lunch. The earthquake that hit us last year was bigger, yes. But this earthquake was shallower, therefore causing more damage. Buildings have collapsed, houses have been destroyed and familys have been broken. A guy I know lost 3 family members, they were in a bus that was crushed by falling rubble and one of my good friends, Jamie, hasn’t been in contact with me since before the quake. Rescue teams are still trying to save people buried under the rubble but the threat of the Grand Chancellor (tallest building in the city) collasping has hindered one of the rescue operations. Thousands of people have been misplaced with no-where to go so they’ve set up camp at a refuge centre in Hagley Park, one of many around the city. The electricty is off in 80% of Christchurch and the water isn’t safe to drink. The hospital is at it’s carrying capacity so other hospitals in the country have had to send patients home in order to make room for those injured in the earthquake. Cell phone coverage is sketchy at best so it’s near impossible to reach loved ones. The problems just keep coming and coming and Christchurch’s future is looking bleak. I guess the point of this blog was to open your eyes. Awareness.

I just ask that you shut up about Justin Bieber’s hair cut for five minutes and pray for the people of Christchurch.

A girl I know lost about 6 of her friends to this earthquake.

A guy in my history class hasn’t heard from his mum yet.

A friend of my mums didn;t know what had happened to her auntie…until she saw her being pulled out from the rubble covered in blood on the 6pm news.

My sisters principal lost one of his best friends after a boulder the size of two shipping containers fell from a cliff and on top of his workplace.

So please, please reblog.

Even if you don’t live anywhere near New Zealand. Even if you don’t even know where New Zealand is.

Reblog, spread the word and send us your prayers.

The world is crumbling

Recently there has been a major flood in Queensland, and now another earthquake in our own homeland - Christchurch.

Let us all pray for those who are hurting, mourning, and let us pray for their safety.

Situations like these remind us that the world is temporary. That the world is not our true home - for it is unstable.

It is time like these we are given the opportunity to kneel and pray and be thankful that we are still alive.

It is time like these that we can only count on God as He is the only one that is stable in our lives.

Let us pray so that God may heal all the people who are hurting. Heal all cities. Heal our nation. Heal our hearts. Heal our world.

Lord, I want to grow closer to You.

I want to go back into your presence. Back into your love. God, help me to understand that you’re a great Father and want the best for me - I know that You cause all things work for the good.
